Once on this land some individuals had to fight a battle against rulers, invaders, against the abuse of the fundamental human rights of everyone else in the Gold Coast. 1957 saw the unshakable movement of lives and great minds like Osagyefo Dr. KWAME NKRUMAH and some restless 5 to stop the harsh moving train of the invaders. Independence for the Gold Coast meant Africa must be free. The freedom of Ghana meant nothing until it held the hands of many African nations to stand free.

what does the independence of Ghana mean to you?

Leaders, standing up for the development of mother Ghana must be a topmost priority.  Like the very first leaders of the new-born nation, toil for the development of our nation from education to health, to transport, to the media extending to economy. The plea is simple, do your honest parts, with Ghana and the future of our unborn generations in mind.

Young people, investing our time and resources into the development of our Nation is our own call for independence.  Add to national conversations by sounding your creativity, intelligence and strength in innovations.  Let us join hands and start that great business. Let's start it as small as we can. Let us in our capabilities stand for the development of our motherland.

To all Ghanaians in the Diaspora, it's a call from home! We need to build Ghana for ourselves and our future.  Far away or near, the independence of our country carpeted our very movement out of the boundaries of this nation.  "Adze pa w) fie a Oye! " Let's stretch our hands back to our roots, where it all began. Help young creative minds, support development actions, look back when solving problems in technology, health, education, among others. The call is from our routes.

To all nations around the globe, Ghana's independence means we are collectively free. Our independence means Peace and Development.  Our very development is a collective achievement.  Legend minds like that of Kofi Annan's  live on in different sectors of our global economy.  Connect with us, let's build a peaceful,  independent world together.
