MYSELF AND MOTIVATION

I am a young radical change maker. When it comes to impacting lives and creating positive change, I do it with immediacy and courage. I started impacting lives very early in life when in my primary classes, I led the reading of our Gateway English textbooks immediately our teacher stepped out.

I have led on different platforms and groups; from academics to social and religious. Some of which include; serving as the president of the Camfed beneficiaries in senior high, MCF scholars Baobab advocate at Central University, founder of Rising Readers Foundation, SDG ambassador in my tertiary institution, among others. In my leadership positions, I identify with courage, resilience, collaboration, honesty and creativity. I have initiated various projects as a leader across different platforms.

I am passionate about the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals at the grassroots level. I encourage individuals practice SDGs daily; especially the goals that are environmental (SDGs 6,7,11 – 15). I’m a Youth Think Tank researcher, I stand for the development of young people. I think young people should be equipped with skills to improve themselves and their communities. Thanks to programmes like the Edinburgh Summer school which equips young people with skills for development.
